FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Booking & scheduling

How do I request a ride?

Use the Request Transportation form or call our team. Share the basics — who is riding, where, and when — and we will contact you to confirm availability and details. A request is not a confirmed booking until our team confirms it with you.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can. Advance notice helps us match the right schedule to your appointment. For recurring treatment, we recommend setting up your standing schedule before your first visit.

Can a family member or caregiver book for me?

Yes. Family members, caregivers and care teams can request transportation on behalf of a passenger. Please share the best contact number for the passenger and for yourself.

Can I set up rides for recurring appointments?

Yes. Recurring treatment transportation is designed for standing schedules such as dialysis or therapy. Tell us the days and times, and we will work with you to set it up.

How do I change or cancel a trip?

Contact our team as early as possible. Our cancellation policy will be shared when your trip is confirmed.

During your ride

What type of transportation do you provide?

Everblue Care provides ambulatory non-emergency medical transportation for passengers who can walk independently or with minimal assistance, such as a cane or walker.

Is Everblue Care an ambulance or emergency service?

No. Everblue Care is a non-emergency transportation provider. We do not provide emergency response or medical care during transport. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Can someone ride with me?

In many cases a family member or caregiver can accompany a passenger. Please mention this when you request your trip so we can plan for it.

Will the driver help me to and from the vehicle?

Yes. Drivers offer a steady arm and an unhurried pace getting in and out of the vehicle, and help you to the entrance at your destination.

Healthcare partners

Do you work with hospitals and healthcare facilities?

We are actively building relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, rehabilitation and dialysis facilities, physician practices and senior-care organizations. Use Partner With Everblue to start a conversation.

Can our facility set up a standing account?

That is exactly what our partnership process is for. We will map your workflow, agree a simple way to request trips, and set up a single point of contact for your team.

What information do you need from our team to schedule a trip?

Only what is needed to schedule and complete the ride: passenger name and contact number, pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, mobility level, and a contact on your team. We do not need diagnoses or clinical records.

Privacy & payment

What personal information do you collect online?

Our website forms collect only the details needed to respond to you and schedule transportation. Please do not submit diagnoses, medications, insurance numbers or other medical records through the website.

How is payment handled?

Payment and coverage options are confirmed with you when your trip is scheduled. We will only list insurance or benefit programs on this website once participation is formally in place.

Where do you operate?

Everblue Care is based in New Jersey. See our Service Area page for current coverage, or contact us to ask about a specific trip.
